Meg and Jack are eight months old next week. Where has the time gone?! Though to be honest, I am glad they're getting older because as cute as puppies are, it's nice when they learn commands and aren't jumping and peeing everywhere. I must say, I do feel quite a thrill of accomplishment when they pick up something new.

Momo, Meg and Jack take a nap. Sometimes I go whole weeks without being able to sit on that couch because it's already been claimed.

Jack and Meg relax once Momo is gone to bed. Meg is caught in the act chewing the blanket. She's gone mad teething again.

More chillin' and looking cute while doing so

Rosie and Jack say Hi.

Jack close up. He's a very lean, very strong dog, completely different from the rest of the litter. He's a lot more manageable than he was but there was no way I was going to let a dog that strong mentally and physically get the better of us. But he's very loveable and is great fun.

Jack wants to tell Momo a secret...

...He is actually a Vampire Pup and wants her blood! Or maybe he's just trying to lick her face and she's not impressed.

Meg likes to sit at the big table.

Aw, they are so cute!

I lived with a puppy a few years back (belonged to my landlady) and while he was generally monstrous (and big - he's an English Springer Spaniel), he did get somewhat better as he got older (I'd compare him to Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, because he liked to destroy things)

It's funny because they don't know any better when they're puppies, they're just full of beans so it's constant telling them what to do and it can be very tiring.

English springer spaniels are gorgeous. A friend of mine has one and it needs a lot of walking to harness that hunting energy.

His owner does take him on long walks every day to get that energy out, but he still seems hell bent on destroying things. Granted, I last saw him a few years ago, so maybe he's gotten better behaved.

Awww, Jack's showing Momo too much love in that one pic! TOO ADORABLE! After seeing Marley and Me, I'm happy to know that your dogs aren't incorrigible! :)

The dogs just love her. She doesn't play with them, doesn't feed them or walk them or anything like that (naturally), but regardless they like to be with her. And when she's calling us during the day, Meg will jump up to see what she wants. It's amazing. But then dogs have always liked my grandmother, there's something about her they're drawn to.

There is no way my mother would allow them to be Marley-esque incorrigible! To be honest, neither would I. Not with three of them. The place would be a riot zone!

I know! I do look at them sometimes and wonder where my cute little pups that I could carry comfortably in my arms at the same time, have gone!

I love Meg & Jack's ears - do his fold over while hers seem to be upright? It's completely adorable that they're so drawn to your grandmother.

Yep, you're right about their ears. There's absolutely nothing similar about them. She's very nimble while he's a solid block of muscle, especially when I'm pressing his lower back to get him to sit down. Meg just flops but you have to put some work in to get that boy moving!
