To any SF'ers that find their way here, I'm Queen Six.
I live in Galway, on the west coast of Ireland. It rains a lot here and thanks to the Atlantic Ocean, it gets very windy too. Sometimes we get two weeks of sunshine in April or May - we call that summer because you can be sure we don't get too much of it during June or July! I've been out of work since 2005 thanks to a Crohns Disease flare up but I had surgery in January 2008 and now I am ten times better.
I'm an avid reader and TV watcher. I like movies and going to the theatre too. When I do tear myself away from the goggle box, I like to knit and bake. Nigella's domestic goddess book is practically my bible because I like my treats and there's a lot of stuff I can't eat. But if I make it myself and make some of the ingredients more gut friendly, I'm on the pigsback. Yay! Because a girl needs her munchies, y'know?
I like news, I like to know what's going on with people and in the world, whether it's the entertainment world, or current events or whatever. I believe information is power and it's all about the more you know and the more you experience.
I'm also an assistant leader with a Brownie pack and a leader with a Guide company. Guiding rocks, y'all!
